This kind of quests are unlocked only after you have taken over the outpost. They consist in hunting down an animal in a specified area, using specified weapon. Although every individual mission regulates which kind of weapon needs to be used, it does not really have to be a weapon picked up during a mission. You can, just as well, use a modified weapon, which makes things easier.

Only during these quests can you find unique animals, whose hides are necessary to craft the best items around. Below, there is a list of outposts that unlock quests with this kind of animals .

Northern Island:

• Death Camp -a unicorn;
• Cradle Gas Station-an invincible bear;
• Orphan Point - black panther;
• Mosquito Yard - gold tiger;
• Cliffside Overlook - blood monitor;
• Rust Yard - a tapir;
• Kell's Boat Repairs - a man-eating shark;
• AM 12 - yellow neck cassowary;
