Enlisted: Best perks - which one to choose? Enlisted guide, walkthrough
Last update: 09 September 2021
Advancing a soldier to the next level, you will choose one of three random perks - that is, special abilities that provide passive bonuses. On this page of the Enlisted guide, you will learn how the perk system works and its limitations. In addition, you will find here a list of the best perks, that is, universal bonuses suitable for every soldier class.
How does the perk system work?
Perks in Enlisted were assigned to three categories - Mobility (green shoe icon), Vitality (red heart icon), and Firepower (yellow fist icon). Opening a Perks tab in the window of a soldier, you will see his stats in the above categories. Each perk has a specific pool in given category. For example - if next to the icon Mobility is 2/8, it means that the perks of the soldier used 2 points of Mobility, and there are still 6 points left. After a soldier is advanced, you will be able to choose one of three random perks - if the cost of any of them exceeds the remaining pool of the category, you will not be able to choose it.
You can increase the maximum perk pool by raising the rank of a given soldier. To do this, open the window Academy. To increase the rank of one soldier, you have to send three soldiers for training. After some time, one random soldier will return from training with an increased rank and increased perk pool. However, remember that the other two soldiers will be gone. In addition, the perks of the soldier will be reset.
Which perks are the best?
Selection of the best perks in Enlisted is difficult -drawing perks means that you don't always get satisfying bonuses. Despite this, it is worth paying attention to several universal perks, useful in any situation and in all soldiers classes:
- 100% more stamina - a soldier can sprint twice as long. This will make it easier for you to reach control points or navigate on the map.
- 35% more vitality - more health means more resistant soldiers.
- 100% more ammunition for main weapon - running out of bullets usually means a quick death. Doubling the number of ammunition for the main weapon reduces the chance of such a situation.
- 70% less vertical recoil while standing - reduces the vertical recoil of the weapon in a standing position. This is especially useful when using automatic weapons.
