And so it turns out that our editors are either huge Harry Potter fans, or there's been another circumstance that's made Hogwarts Legacy the most anticipated game of 2023 in our office. The magic of the atmosphere of the Harry Potter movies and books certainly has a lot to do with it, but it's also the fact that the universe will finally get the (hopefully) open-world game with the freedom that it deserves and fits so perfectly. It will literally make you feel like a Hogwarts student – with attending classes, learning spells, and exploring the unusual school and its surroundings during breaks, just like in the books.

Even though Hogwarts Legacy will be set decades before Harry, Ron and Hermione went to school, virtually nothing shall change in terms of atmosphere. The castle exists beyond time, adhering to the same customs and principles for centuries, and discovering its secrets should be a great way to spend some winter nights. Especially since maxing out the game promises to be an rather time-consuming task.
