If, after the Elden Ring, someone still has an appetite for soulslike located in the open world, they are lucky. Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn modeled its combat system after the titles of FromSoftware, but it will introduce more dynamics to it. This could have been influenced by the last God of War.
During the clashes, we will witness spectacular camera shots that will add thrills even to battles with basic mobs. This will be complemented by eye-catching visuals that may not be as great as in the biggest AAA titles, but definitely look polished.
The game also approaches character development differently. Defeating opponents and bosses yields experience points, and we shall not lose them after death. Instead, battles will increase our reputation; the better the style of our victory, the higher the multiplier, and thus – more points. We will be able to spend our reputation points on new equipment, but death will make us lose it. So, everything will stay the old way.
