Games from Civilization series have been with us since 1991 and are almost synonymous with strategic games. The sixth installment of the cycle is, in turn, just another Civilization and a bold, fresh approach to the franchise.
Not all the changes made to Civilization VI have been positively accepted by the community. The developers were not afraid to delete some well-known solutions and introduce a few of new game mechanics. It is enough to mention the cities, which are now expanding into more and more fields of the board.
Not everyone liked the cartoon-like setting than in the fifth installment and in the end the community is still divided. Many players still play Civilization V on Steam instead of the newest part.
Nevertheless, at our editorial office we believe that the game is worth a place on the podium. The changes were for good in most cases and even if the publisher didn't avoid serious flops (yes, we're talking about the spying application called Red Shell), it's a great game. The title had a huge amount of content from the very start and without any problems it lured to play more.
