What is The Medium about?
The Medium is a Polish survival horror game, developed by Bloober Team. They're known for games like Observer, Blair Witch or the Layers of Fear series, which is quite a recommendation. This time, we will have to impersonate the title medium capable of seeing ghosts. Our heroine, using her extraordinary abilities, will try to unravel the mystery of a child's death, which will turn out to be dangerous and challenging.
Why should you be afraid of The Medium?
The Medium is an exploration game, in which evil lurks around every corner. For this reason, you will need to carefully examine the area. This doesn't mean, however, that we will only move around the world of the living. In this game, we will look into the world of spirits and influence it. This is where we will find key solutions to our problems, but also face our main opponents.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
It looks like the Poles will deliver the first, truly next-gen game. Eleven weeks after the launch of the ninth generation of consoles, we will finally see a completely new IP (a criterion that Demon's Souls remake fails to meet), whose creators deliberately avoid the eighth generation hardware as they need more processing power. They will use it to render two worlds simultaneously. I am just wondering one thing: doesn't Xbox Series S make it harder for Bloober to realize this ambitious vision?
