Soda Dungeon

INFORMATION

  1. Size: approx. 70 MB
  2. Released in: 2015
  3. Genre: idle game
  4. Platform: PC, AND, iOS

Soda Dungeon is a representative of idle games, the worst time-waster games that have ever been created, or, in another way-titles like Clicker Heroes or Adventure Capitalist, in which the gameplay is largely automatic, and we only have to keep an eye on our growing resources from time to time and direct the available forces to increasingly difficult (and providing even better prizes) challenges.

In the game, players become adventurers' patrons, who hire warriors from the nearest tavern and dispatch them deep into the dungeons to then collect the profits they earn. One's subordinates fight completely on their own-players' participation in the game begins when they lose and ends when the next team begins their quest. One can invest the earned money in the tavern - apart from buying nicer furniture, players can purchase new flavors of the title soda, the favorite drink of the heroes (which leads to increased hiring opportunities) or better equipment. And so on and so forth to infinity-or at least to the thousandth level of the dungeons. What? Does it sound boring? You will not even notice when the game will steal dozens of hours of your life. Moreover, it can be downloaded from Steam for free.

He started with amateur websites, which he coded himself in HTML, then he moved on to increasingly larger portals. A computer engineer, but he was always more drawn to writing than programming, and he decided to tie his future with the former. In games, he primarily looks for stories, emotions, and immersion that no other medium can provide - hence, among his favorite titles, are games focusing on narration. Believes that NieR: Automata is the best game ever made.
