Risen is just the unofficial Gothic 4, another game by the creators of the series, who, due to copyright issues, cannot use its universe. So they created a new world, a very similar one, so the fans will certainly find themselves at home in no time. It is worth noting that Risen is a game from 2009, and the title discussed here is not a remaster – it is a re-launch of the same game, just on new platforms.
