Lea Seydoux as Fragile. Hollywood in Games – People of Death Stranding

Table of Contents

Born in 1985 in Paris, Lea Seydoux only gained international recognition in 2015 when she performed in Spectre, another James Bond movie. Even before that, however, she had no reason to be ashamed of her career, being a featured actress in France and having smaller roles in Inglorious Bastards, Robin Hood from 2010, or Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.

She decided to become an actress when she was eighteen. The fans of Hideo Kojima's work, especially of the Metal Gear Solid series, will probably like the fact that the acting school she went to was called Les Enfants Terribles. Her film debut came in 2005, in a Belgian-French comedy Girlfriends. The first major success came 3 years later with the lead role in The Beautiful Person by Christophe Honoré, which gave her true recognition in France, certified by the title of Female Revelation at the 62nd Cannes film Festival.

After this role, she made her way into American cinema – first taking episodic roles in Inglorious Bastards or Robin Hood, to eventually get the main female role in Spectre. She never abandoned French cinema, expanding her filmography with highly praised roles in Farewell, My Queen and Blue Is the Warmest Colour. In recent years, we could see her performance in Zoe and Kursk.

Death Stranding will be Léy Seydoux's first adventure with computer games. She will give her voice and face to Fragile, a young woman Sam Bridges meets along his journey. The woman will be an executive in Fragile Express company and will offer to Sam to work for her.
