Hideo Kojima?. Hollywood in Games – People of Death Stranding

This paragraph is pure speculation on my part, unconfirmed by any official reports. But Hideo Kojima, the legendary designer of the Metal Gear Solid series and a visionary behind Death Stranding likes to surprise his fans by, for example, putting himself in his own games.

He did that in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V: the Phantom Pain, where we could meet and even save him in special missions. Recently, Kojima also appeared in a special mission available exclusively on the PlayStation 4 in Control from Remedy Studio. Considering this, his performance in Death Stranding is quite likely.
