What is EverQuest?
The gradpa of all the famous series available today and, at the same time, one of the first full-fledged MMORPGs on the market. The authors of the first iteration of EverQuest drew handfuls of inspiration from Ultima Online, learning from their mistakes and duplicating proven solutions. Despite the past years, this game still enjoys a certain popularity and it's heritage is still traceable – it's much more difficult than its younger contemporaries, and in order for you to really achieve something, you need to pack a lot of time.
Is the game getting easier?
Although the changes introduced throughout the years have simplified the mechanics of EverQuest (a reduction in the loss experience, the ability to summon corpses, no more full loot drop), it still remains one of the most demanding challenges.
Main feature: percentage loss of experience upon death + tedious grind / exping
