Realm of the Mad God Description
Realm of the Mad God is an action RPG game with roguelike elements and an extensive system of unlocking new characters. In the game we play the role of one of the daredevils who challenged the Crazy God. Realm of the Mad God was created as a flash game, but since 2012 the title has also been available on the Steam platform. The creators of 8-bit production are studios Wild Shadow Studios and Spry Fox, and the brand has been managed by Kabam since 2012.
The adventure begins in the world of Oryx, the title Crazy God, where we were transported to become food for his dark servants. In such a situation there is nothing else to do but to face the cruel deity, fighting the hordes of his subordinates along the way.
Playing Realm of the Mad God is both simple and demanding. Its easiness lies in the uncomplicated mechanics - each character has one basic attack and the ability to make a strong, usually area hit, so a mouse and five keys are all it takes to operate it. On the other hand, the fight is fast and dynamic, and because we usually face many opponents at once, you have to be very careful. This is especially important, because the most important element determining the style of play is the system of permanent death. We can record the progress of a character and return to it later, but after death we start the game anew.
The development of heroes is not complicated and takes place automatically, so the main task of players is to look for better and better equipment. In order to be able to play with another character class (there are 15 of them in total), you need to gain concrete achievements with the ones you already have unlocked. For example, in order to take on the role of a sorcerer, you need to reach a maximum of 20 (maximum) levels by playing necromancers and assassin characters.
Realm of the Mad God is characterized by a charming, 8-bit graphics. Character and monster models with just a few pixels harmonize well with the light character of the game.
