Brookheights - open world
This is going to sound weird, but COVID-19 has had an incredibly good impact on The Sims 4. Arnie, one of the modders, lost his job due to the pandemic. He used his free time to create a modification called Brookheights Open Worlds (now Legacy), which is a real open world. This is in no way an exaggeration or marketing ploy, as you will no longer see any loading screens when moving to a new map. And that doesn't mean there's nothing to do in Brookheights. To the contrary – you will find a lot of interesting attractions.
The additional world represents a new country of sorts. You will need a work visa to obtain employment, which you can get at a specific building. Speaking of elements of the city, we should mention that some buildings are fully interactive – that is, you can enter them freely and see with your own eyes what is going on there (of course, this is done without loading screens). You can use the money you earn to buy a car, as it's possible to drive around the town. And if a driving isn't enough, visit the local airport and get on a plane – yes, the map is big enough to fly over it. To top it off, the creator even provided a storyline. Of course, don't count on a gripping story, but rather a nice addition to the world you're exploring.
HOW TO START?
The author has created a special game file containing content tailored for starting the game with the Brookheights mod. After loading the game, take a look at the picture in your house – Amos' story has just begun.
