Harry Potter: Wizards Unite – Do not confuse with Pokemon GO

  1. Genre: turn-based strategy
  2. Requirements: Android 5.0
  3. Payment model: free-to-play
  4. Microtransactions: cosmetic items and a few optional boosters

The designers of Pokemon GO have decided to try their hand at developing an adaptation of the fantasy universe created by J. K. Rowling – this is how Harry Potter: Wizards Unite came into existence. As for a game that rewards players for taking a walk in the real world, this is an extremely engaging title, which requires almost constant attention during the gameplay. It's hard to play it at your leisure or on the fly. The combat consists in making the right hand movements to activate specific spells, which stands out as a pleasant novelty in this genre.

In many ways, this title proves to be much more complex than Pokemon GO. Players have various professions at their disposal, a lot of additional attractions and a vast amount of things to collect. However, some limitation is the unusual battery drain caused by the app, which at some stage of the game can effectively limit your gameplay and force you... to buy a power-bank or simply reduce the play time. When it comes to graphics, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is an eye-pleasing gem.
