Kingdom: New Lands and Two Crowns. Best Android games for summer travels

Table of Contents

  1. Operating system: Android 6.0 or higher
  2. Price: $20

The Kingdom series offers an odd blend of genres. On the one hand, it's a side-scroller strategy, on the other hand, it's hard not to notice RPG elements here. The whole creates a production that you simply have to check out to see for yourself if fighting for the kingdom is what you're after.

Let me just warn you that it will be hard, because the management of the domain is not only about recruiting new settlers and collecting fees from them. At night, you need to be mindful of the safety of your subjects and defend your buildings from sneaky enemies. Therefore, we have to take care of proper fortifications, plan the placement of buildings and take into account the fact that the larger our domains get, the more difficult it will be to protect them.

You should like it if:

  1. You like strategy and you don't mind pixel art;
  2. You're open to novelty and unusual solutions;
  3. You have much patience, and losing doesn't make you fling your smartphone.

Plants vs. Zombies 2 in our encyclopedia

  1. Operating system: Android 4.1 or higher
  2. Price: free-to-play + micropayments

Here are perhaps the most charismatic flowers of virtual entertainment, once again fighting for the freedom of gardens and ripping them out of the hands of not-so-monstrous zombies. And all this comes in an unusual graphic setting, dressed in a kind of tower defense and enriched with a not-very-subtle, but nice sense of humor. As far as I'm concerned, there are only advantages to this game, and Plants vs. Zombies 2 is recommended to anyone who just wants to relax.

Let's face it, this title isn't too difficult, but it works perfectly as a time devourer.Zombie skirmishes are short, the rules not overly complicated, and our story progression gives us access to more and more upgrades and variations of combat flowers. As a result, there is no time for boredom, since more and more bizarre zombies are moving on us from the opposite side, and we'll have to repel each wave.

You should like it if:

  1. You're looking for casual tower defense gameplay;
  2. You like titles with a huge amount of content;
  3. You played part one a long time ago and remember it fondly.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

  1. Operating system: Android 4.4 or higher
  2. Price: free-to-play + micropayments

Animal Crossing has conquered the Nintendo Switch, but is also available on mobile devices. Pocket Camp lets you take on the role of a summer camp owner. By exploring nearby areas and collecting materials, we improve our camp to attract even more visitors. As befits Animal Crossing, there is a daily schedule depending on the actual time of day. Fun is also affected by weather conditions!

In addition to creating new items and expanding our tourist attraction, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp allows us to interact with NPCs who have special tasks for us, as well as gifts. Be warned that this title is incredibly addictive and you won't even notice when you spend more time with it than you planned.

You should like it if:

  1. You want to play Animal Crossing, but you don't own a Switch;
  2. You are a born collector and hoarder;
  3. You've got too much free time that you are unable to utilize.

Teamfight Tactics

  1. Operating system: Android 7.0 or higher
  2. Price: free-to-play + micropayments

Teamfight Tactics is theoretically the most popular auto chess game out there. Whether it's the best game of its kind is debatable, but no one can deny that it is hard to just shrug it off. Riot Games has done a great job bringing Tactical Skirmishes (that's the official translation) to mobile – everything works great, and in my opinion, it plays even better than on PC.

But what's Teamfight Tactics? Essentially, it's a strategy in which you draw random units, mix them into combinations, place them on the board, and then watch the battle unfold. We do not directly participate in the battles. There are eight players in a match, but we only fight one of them in each round, and our goal is to survive as long as possible. Which is not easy at all, because randomness is a huge factor in the game.

You should like it if:

  1. You're looking for some auto chess;
  2. You love the world of League of Legends;
  3. You don't mind random elements and you expect something with a strategic knack.
