Deadly Wasteland is a mod for Fallout 3, created by Gromdal.
Description (in author’s own words):
Aims to make Fallout 3s combat alot more fair and even.
In vanilla we have raiders with 30 hp, Point lookout tribals with 700 hp and magic damage that bypasses your damage rating.
Well no more.
-Magic damage from overlords and Point lookout removed
-Fixed hp values for Dogmeat, Fawkes, Rl3 so they dont have thousands upon thousands of hp
-Max damage resistance for the player is 65% (85% makes way to many enemies unable to hurt you)
-Stimpaks heal over 15 seconds. Food and drink gives small buffs and no longer heals.
-Almost all weapons do more damage and more even damage (crit damage down, normal damage up). In vanilla plasma rifle, metal blaster etc are good. Now all weapons are deadly. Helps NPC aswell as the player.
-Low level enemies have alot more hp (ghouls, supermutants, raiders). For example raider from 30 hp to 100.
-High level enemies down in hp (overlords from 1100 to 600).
-You take normal damage while using VATS.
No enemies get more hp based on your level. They all have their healthpools and that is it.
This mod makes the game more difficult yet without the odd spikes in "difficulty". I recommend playing on normal.
I recommend using crowded cities alongside my mod as it makes the games towns feel so alive.
