There are five types of pets available in Cube World. They differ in behavior, their use and method of development. On this page of our guide to Cube World, we explain everything about all types of pets.
Melee pets
This is the largest group of pets available in the game. They attack monsters in their vicinity - they cause melee damage.

- Parrot;
- Pig;
- Peacock;
- Penguin;
- Plain Runner;

- Scottish Terrier;
- Sheep;
- Slime;
- Snow Runner;
- Squirrel;
- Terrier;
- Turtle;
- Wolf.
Ranged pets
You can find two types of ranged pets in the game which use long-distance attacks:
- Snout Beetle;
- Spitter.
Healing pets
Spitter is not only a ranged pet, but also a healer. It doesn't heal the hero directly or automatically - you have to enter its projectiles in order to be healed.
Mounts
There are many companions in the game, thanks to which you can quickly and safely travel through a vast area of the map. There are 26 mounts in the game. We carefully listed these pets on a separate page of this guide.
Tank
Turtle is currently the only character that acts as a tank. It takes on heavy damage and distracts opponents.
