System requirements for Child of Light | Appendix

Despite beautiful visuals, Child of Light is not a prohibitive game - it should work even on older PCs and laptops with integrated graphics processors. When set to the minimum software requirements, the game needs DirectX 9 to be installed, which allows a player who owns older devices to play the game. Interestingly enough, when playing the PC version of the game through Steam, it requires a player to connect with his Uplay account.

Our hardware

This guide is based on the PC version played on the following hardware:

1. OS: Windows 8.1
2. Processor:  Intel Core i7 3770k
3. RAM: 10GB DDR3 GOODRAM
4. Video card: Asus GeForce GTX970 4096MB 256bit DirectCu II Strix OC

The above specification was enough for the game to run without any issues.

1. OS: Windows Vista or later, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions
2. Internet connection: Required
3. Online activation required: Yes, via Uplay platform.
4. Controllers: Keyboard and mouse, optionally a gaming pad with two analog sticks.
5. Achievements: None.
