The controls are not very complex

Broken Age has really simple controls, as most adventure games do. You interact with environment by means of left mouse button. ESC button pauses the game and opens inventory menu, while Space button allows you to skip a cut-scene. You may change the controls as you see fit - just click on a particular function, be it Skip Cutscene, and ascribe a new button to it.

You can switch between characters freely

There are two playable characters in Broken Age. You can switch between them at any moment. To do this, open the inventory menu and click on another character's picture in the right bottom corner of the screen.

Retro Mode activation

There is a secret option in the game, hidden under a curiously-sounding name Retro Mode. To activate this, open graphic options and set 640x480 resolution - you may switch it back to normal right away. Since now, you can find another option in the controls menu. This one is marked by a small picture of the game characters. Ascribe any button to it - I chose V. Next, go back to actual gameplay.

Once you press the button you ascribed to Retro Mode, the graphics turns old school.
