Blair Witch is a psychological horror that combines solutions known from other representatives of the genre such as Alan Wake or Outlast. The next section contains information about the gameplay.

Blair Witch is a first-person horror game. During the game, you will explore the Black Hills forest located near Burkittsville and solve logic puzzles. The name gives you complete freedom and does not impose the order in which you will discover the next secrets.

Your only companion during the adventure is your dog - Bullet. Together with him, you will discover the dark secrets of this place. Your friend will try to help you at any cost - the dog can discover a safe way or useful items, it will also help you reach inaccessible items. In all places, where your dog is able to help, you will see the special icon.

The camera is another important element of the gameplay. It allows you to document the events you will witness. You can also check your recordings to quickly go back to a specific event. In addition, while exploring the woods, you will come across a mysterious tape and stories about a witch.

The game is constructed in such a way, that you never know what's actually attacking you. The creature chasing you is extremely fast and stealthy, plus it warps the image.

Blair Witch also features combat. The main character is not equipped with any weapon - you need to think carefully about non=-standard methods of defeating enemies.
