This page of our guide to Beyond: Two Souls contains a description of Old Friends and Norah scenes. In the first scene, you're meeting with Cole. The second scene involves breaking into the hospital and avoiding detection. The purpose of the visit to the hospital is to reach the room where Norah is staying.

This chapter starts with a long conversation with Cole so, you can put away your game pad for a moment, and Jodie will bring up the most important issues herself.

To sneak past the porter, take control over him as Aiden

Once you are in the parking lot, enter the nearby hospital. The porter will refuse to let you through, but Aiden can take control over him and call the lift.

Before you open the door, distract the guard

On top, you will bump into another guard. To distract him, toy with the box behind his back and press the button on the desk then. This way you will open the door. You can now go over to the other side.

By knocking the chairs over, you will wake the sleeping physician

To open the next door, you are going to need a special keycard. You can retrieve it from the man sleeping at the other side of the corridor on the right. Take a look at him and wake him up, by knocking over the chairs in the TV room. Once he enters the room, you will be able to take control over him and open the door. As soon as you are inside, collect the ID card and follow your companion. Cole will take you to the room where Jodie's mother is.

The first meeting with your mother is not going to be too fortunate

Your task now is to check out, as Aiden, the woman's memories. Once you do that, and start to back up, Jodie will make it over to her mother's memories for a moment. Free the captive soul by using the appropriate powers and listen to what the woman has to say. You need then to decide if you want to keep your mother alive, or maybe kill her as Aiden, by stopping her heart. Regardless of what you decided on, after you leave the room, you will be knocked down.

As soon as you regain consciousness, stand up and leave to the corridor. You will notice there a huge condenser. A moment later, Nathan will arrive. During your conversation with the researcher, you can select any dialogue options. They have no bearing on what happens next. Once you are done, this episode will conclude.
