While playing The Ascent, you will have plenty of moments where your health will fall to a dangerous level. You can't carry any medkits in the inventory. Therefore, you should know how to heal. On this page of the guide, you will find out how to restore health points.

How to heal?

To use the red first aid kit, you need to press the interact button.

Healing items are dropped by dead enemies. You can also buy them with credits from some vending machines scattered throughout the game world. The Ascent has two types of healing items. The first is red first aid kits (one of them is presented in the picture above). You use them by pressing the interaction button.

To use the red medicine vials, you simply have to walk over them.

The second type are red vials visible in the above image. In their case, you do not need to press any button - just walk over them. However, they restore less health than red first aid kits.
