Until Dawn: Episode 6 - Walkthrough Until Dawn Guide
Last update: 04 October 2024
You are going to begin as Matt who is on the slope surrounded by deer. The better choice is to ignore them or in the other case they will knock Matt down. You are going to be able to save yourself during the QTE. The butterfly effect will be updated (In Self Defense).
As Emily go down the path to the tower. When the light will turn on you will see the Guidance Totem #6 next to the bench. Enter the tower and try to use the radio. Take also the Hannah poster from the desk next to the radio. Get inside and turn on the power with the switch next to the door. Walk around the tower to find the chest with the signal gun. It is very important to give it to Matt. If Emily is alone (since Matt could also be already dead) you still need to find this gun and keep it. Two butterfly effects will change (Who Gets the Gun; On the Sam Page).
Warning - if while playing Matt you haven't agree with Emily to go to the tower better let Emily to keep the gun since it may be useful later on. If you will give it to Matt he will fire it right away what will be a total waste.
Go back inside and use the fax which will print the Beth's poster. Now use the radio and be ready to make few decisions quite soon. Your decisions during the dialogue are not important however after the conversation the tower will start do tumble down. Emily will have to jump to safety during the QTE.
While playing Matt don't mention that you he has seen Emily with Mike (if he has seen her during the episode one). The butterfly effect will update (Whose Side Are You On). Now you need to choose saving Emily twice if you want both of them to stay alive (butterfly effect: Save Yourself). When Matt will dodge he will be kidnapped by wendigo. You have to aim at it and shoot it fast to keep your friend alive.
Warning - it is important if you have agreed to Emily's plan in chapter five. If you don't remember what was your decision just try to remember what did Matt do with the signal gun once he got it. If he fired instantly the only way to save him is to not try to save Emily but instead to try keep himself alive by jumping from the tower on the platform. They will both survive however their relationship will be much worse what does not make it the most beneficial option. In this case Matt will not be attacked by wendigo so the gun will not be necessary.
You are going to return to Ashley and Chris. Go to the basement. You need to find the dollhouse in the left part of the basement. Inside the dollhouse you will find a key hole. The key is under the window in the end of the corridor on the left side. After opening it and looking around its content you may walk ahead through the corridor.
After the next door look to your right. On a desk you will find the lightbulb catalogue and the scissors left from it (butterfly effect update: Forewarned is Forearmed). Turn right and among the cardboard boxes you may find the hidden camera. Later on, after the conversation with Chris and turning left, you will find on your right the packed faked newspapers.
Leave the stairs and pass the curve. You will see the sparks in a place where you may find the batteries and timers. In the next room, which looks like a slaughterhouse, you are going to find the hooks and chains on your left and the dead pig on your right. In the left corner is hidden the last clue - the photos of friends on the board.
In the end of the road Chris will open the door. If you will follow him the butterfly effect will update (Stick Together). The second option is to check the movement. It doesn't make much of a difference since either way you are going to face a psychopath. If Ashley has taken the scissors she may use them right now to unlock The Psycho Path trophy. It will also update the butterfly effect (Forewarned is Forearmed).
The last scene of this episode. Chris has to decide if he is going to shot himself or Ashley. You should choose the first option. Later on Chris will be unable to enter the shelter while running away from wendigo. This way will also update the butterfly effect (Point Blank) and will allow you to unlock later on the Ashley Snaps trophy. However firing toward Ashley will unlock the Fatal Grudge trophy.
