Chapter 1 | Episode 3: What We Deserve
The first chapter begins with a conversation on the ship, happening before the first chapters of the game.
You'd really come after me? |
Just needed some space |
No one wants to see that |
... |
We're just a crew |
They're growing on me too |
How long does it take? |
... |
Why'd you bother? |
I would have gone in alone |
You did the right thing |
... |
Glad there are people like Pete |
Pete shouldn't be so trusting |
He shouldn't have hired you |
... |
Deal me in |
No, thanks |
Let's now focus on the decisions that you were able to make in the previous episodes, namely the second episode's Pete and Randal decisions. The difference is rather small and doesn't influence the story.
The first difference is apparent during the conversation with Pete or Paige. Pete will be only here if you had stopped him from realizing his plan in episode 2. The Randall decision is somewhat more important: if you've killed him, he will turn into a Walker, and the whole conversation with him will be skipped.
I'm sorry Pete |
He got what he deserved |
He talked about my kids |
... |
Do you really want to be a killer? |
I should have let you |
I wanted to kill him |
... |
I'm listening |
Calm down |
What do you want? |
[Don't pick up] |
I understand |
I didn't touch him |
That goes both ways |
