Chapter 9 | Scenario 1 Sims Life Stories Guide

Like I've said before, you'll probably have to go to work today, so you'll be able to take care of the objectives during the afternoon session. If you're lucky, you should be promoted, however this may have happened before the weekend. Like always, you should open the skills menu in order to find out what needs to be done. I had to work on the Logic skill. The easiest way to improve this skill would be to use a chess board or a telescope (#1). You shouldn't have any problems acquiring these objects, especially if you didn't buy anything else. Buying a chess board wouldn't be expensive, however you would have to acquire at least one comfortable chair. Don't forget about the needs bars. Try maintaining them at a high level (#2), especially the Energy bar. Thankfully, you have a coffee machine at your disposal, so it'll be very easy.

Important! I'd strongly recommend using the telescope only at night. You should be able to find some time early in the morning or once you've taken care of all tasks (before midnight). You probably won't have any major problems organizing your time. Just make sure that you don't forget about this, because having extra cash (from the promotion) is always a good thing.

Goal: Regain Mickey's trust (+1000 Aspiration)

This chapter will have only one major objective. As you've probably suspected, this task is going to be a lot more difficult. First of all, you will have to wait for a short message to appear on your screen. Riley decides to regain lost trust. Use one of your phones in order to call Mickey (#1). You probably won't be able to invite him right away, because he'll refuse. Instead, try talking to him (#2). You should be able to regain a large number of points.

Once you're ready, hang up and call Mickey again, however this time try inviting him to your house. He should agree to this (#1). If this doesn't happen, you will have to talk to him on the phone in order to earn more relationship points. Wait for Mickey to get here. Make sure that your main character has greeted him (#2). It would be wise to enter the house, especially if you didn't put any new objects in the garden.

I wouldn't recommend starting the conversation with Flirt or Kiss actions, because that would mean an instant failure. Instead, try talking to Mickey. You could also invite him to play darts (#1). Dancing (together) also seems like a good idea (#2). Additionally, try telling a joke or have a conversation on similar interests. You will have to score at least 60 relationship points, however the lower value (beneath two bars) will also be very important.

Important! If your main character is very exhausted (#1), you may consider leaving this task for tomorrow. Don't worry, because you won't have to start the relationship process from the beginning. If you decide to do this, you would have to say goodbye to Mickey. Either way, focus your attention on other actions. I would recommend playing with Mickey (#2).

Once you've gained enough points (including the lower value), try choosing a few actions from the Flirt section. You will have to be very careful, though. Some of the actions may have a negative response (#1). You must avoid them in the near future. Focus your attention on other activities, however you won't be allowed to repeat them too often. If you did everything correctly, a crush icons should appear near our characters (#2). This is an important step, so don't mess it up.

You should start thinking about choosing actions from the Kiss section (#1). Nevertheless, you will have to do this very carefully, you won't scare away your partner. Thankfully, you shouldn't have any problems finding other actions that have been unlocked (#2). Go ahead and choose some of them, however you must observe how Mickey reacts to them.

Focus most of your attention on Kiss actions, because this will help you to finish up with this mission objective (#1). Sadly, Riley finds out that Mickey doesn't want to leave the relationship that he has with Agora. He will say goodbye and leave. You will also receive a gift from him. It'll be a cute bear. I would recommend putting in the bedroom, however the choice is yours. The only thing left to be done here is to wait for the mission summary screen to appear on the screen (#2). You should have plenty of time to relax before the next chapter of the scenario.
