Chapter 3 The Descendant Guide

After you walk through the door, climb to the lower level and follow the corridor to the elevator door shown in the above screenshot. Press the button on the left to call the elevator.

After you walk into the elevator, use the panel to restore power supply. Your task will be to connect the red wire with red on below, using clamps. Do the same for the yellow wire. After you have fixed the mechanism, use the black switch in the upper-right corner.

After you exit the elevator, follow the corridor into the further part of the room. Here, you will find a blocked passage and valves that you need to close.

There's one valve missing on the pipes and you find it in the spot shown in the above screenshot, behind gas tanks. You have passed this spot on your way from the elevator. Take the valve where it belongs and close all of them to gain access to the rest of the facility. At the end on the path, on your left, there is a green door into the main room.

Interact with the machine. Your task now is to replace the worn seal. To do this, you first need to take apart those of the pipes that are in your way. Dismantle the green pipe, and then the gold one, to gain access to the red one. The pipes have to be unscrewed at both ends.

You can find a new seal in the box on your right. Collect it and place it into the machine. As soon as the seal drops to a lower level, return to the spot where you found it and take the nearby ladder.

After you climb to a lower level, between the pipes, close the yellow valve.

After you squeeze between the pipes, you will walk into a small corridor shown in the above screenshot. The seal is on the ground, on the right.

Return now to the location, where you had to close the valve and interact with it gain, thanks to which you gain access to the area with the ladder known from earlier.

After you climb back up, use the machine and place the seal where it should be. Your task now is to put the pipes back into the previous arrangement. First, put the red one in place, then the gold one and finally the green one. After you have completed the task, you can return to the starting point.
