Walkthrough - Chapter 1 The Descendant Guide

The first chapter serves as an introduction for the game. This is here that you learn, in general terms, about the onset of the story and you get to meet the main characters. After all of the cutscenes, you will get into the ARK-1 bunker. Your task here is to blow up bunker fasteners, by pressing the appropriate key that appears on the screen (the above screenshot).

After you get inside, you will have to open another gate. To do this, you need to solve a logic puzzle. First of all, approach the hatch as close as possible. On your left, you will find a control panel that you can interact with.

After you interact with the panel, you learn that there is no way to open it bare-handed. Find a tool that you can use to open it up. To the right of the manhole, there is crowbar (the above screenshot). Approach the toolbox, take the Crowbar and destroy the cover of the control panel.

Once you've gained access to the computer, you will learn that it needs power to be restored. Your task is to find the generator right behind the palettes (the above screenshot). After you interact with the generator, you will find out that it is out of fuel and you need to replenish it.

You can find fuel right next to Randall. Take the fuel to the generator, activate it and return to the panel by the hatch to open it.
