On this page of The Quarry guide, you will find the walkthrough of chapter 9. You will learn what you need to do to complete this part of the game and unlock the Chapter 9 achievement.
Ryan
You and Kaitlyn will end up in a junkyard. At the beginning of the chapter, you will have a few conversations.
Abigail
If Abigail and Emma are alive, they will stay together in the basement. The girls can be nice to each other or argue about the kissing Nick thing.
Laura
Laura will stop by the room with the Hackett family. You can kill Constance on the spot, but you don't have to. The story will go the same way and no one will die here. That includes Laura, even if she gets shot.
Ryan will get stabbed before he escapes.
Ryan
After Ryan escapes, you can decide what to do with the knife. This does not affect the protagonist's life. However, if you leave the knife, you will be able to stab someone later in the story.
When playing as Ryan, you will find the Death tarot card and Kaylee's Letter evidence.
The hero will always escape Bobby, regardless of your choices.
Laura
Laura can explore Hackett's house after escaping. She will be attacked by Jedediah. However, this will happen later.
While exploring the area as Laura, you can find The Sun tarot card and the Hunting Trophy Wall and Hackett Family Tree clues.
After opening the bedroom door, you will encounter a man who wants to kill you. However, he can't do that. Instead, you can jump on him and kill. Regardless of this choice, Laura will destroy the fuses - this will open the cages in the basement. If Jacob stayed down, he will be killed by the transformed Nick.
Ryan
As you continue walking, you will come across Bobby. He won't hurt you, but if you have a knife still stuck in your side, you can take it out and stab the man in the chest. This will lead him to death.
If you want Ryan to survive, you have to let Laura bite him. This will unlock the Phlebotomy achievement.
Dylan
Dylan can find some secrets in the junkyard. The Judgment tarot card and the Discarded Signage and Scrapyard Note clues.
After exploring the junkyard, head to the crane to try to pull the car off. To your misfortune, a werewolf will appear. To save Kaitlyn you must warn her, honk, and then drop the car when the girl calls out.
If you haven't cut off Dylan's arm using a chainsaw, he will transform. Kaitlyn has to run away.
Abigail
You can find The Hierophant tarot card in the basement.
If you have moved the ladder rung earlier, Abigail will trip on it, but nothing will happen to her.
Ryan
As you continue walking, you will come across another transformed person. It will kill the Hacketts. Bobby will die if he was previously stabbed with the knife. Jedediah and Constance will also die if they have previously survived.
At this point, Laura and Travis may kill each other or they can both survive, depending on the characters' relationship. We described this in chapter 7 of the walkthrough.
Killing the transformed will free all his victims, that is Max, Nick and Dylan will wake up in their normal bodies.
Laura
If Travis and Laura survive, they will have a brief conversation, and you get to see another vision, this time one from years ago where it all began.
