I suspect that this challenge will surprise you a little bit, mostly because it's more difficult than the rest of the assignments from this race group. As a result, you shouldn't use it to gather more money, because there are more interesting races waiting for you elsewhere. You should consider choosing a very fast car. Fully upgraded Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo will do just fine. Start off by doing several jumps (#1). I'd strongly recommend that you slow down here, so you won't hit any of the civilian cars. Move to the right edge of the screen and start accelerating aggressively (#2). You will have to be lucky in order to successfully avoid all civilian cars.

Mountain Peak Ride

Level: Champion

Prize: 75000 dollars

This is a standard race, not a time trial, so you shouldn't have any problems scoring a win here. Additionally, most of your opponents will be driving very slow, so extending your lead shouldn't be much of a problem. There are a lot of difficult corners in the area. I will only tell you about the most difficult turns and I'm sure that you'll figure out the rest on your own. You will also have to stay very focused, so don't make too many mistakes. There are two hairpins near the start (#1). They should allow you to secure an early lead, especially since your opponents will be moving very slowly here. Use the brakes once you've reached a tight right turn (#1). Don't worry if you're driving slower here, because you won't be chased down by the competition. There's also a huge jump nearby (#3). I'd strongly recommend preparing for it, so you don't end up somewhere outside the track. You will also have to make a sudden left turn (#4). Once this is done, you will have to deal with several fast corners. They shouldn't be too hard. I'm sure that you'll be able to reach the finish line without any other problems.

Tantalus

Level: Champion

Prize: 100000 dollars

Time limit: 7 minutes 30 seconds

This is one of the most difficult challenges of the entire game, at least in my personal opinion. I'm sure that you want to find out more about this race. You will participate in a standard time trial, however I should warn you that you won't be given much time to reach the finish line. The race is going to be very long and you'll have to stay focused all the time, so you won't make too many mistakes along the way. There are A LOT of very difficult turns in the area. You will have to go through them quickly and with a lot of precision, so you don't lose too much time. There's also a problem of avoiding the traffic. There's going to be a lot of civilian vehicles on the track and you won't be allowed to hit them, because you'll receive penalty seconds. You will also be dealing with a damage bar and depleting it entirely won't take too long, especially if you're not careful. As a result, you will have to memorize most of the corners. It's also very important that you avoid hitting other cars, because you will receive 20 penalty points for each hit. It's better to leave the road sometimes, especially if you're driving one of the faster cars. I will try to focus all of my attention on explaining some of the most difficult sections of the race. You'll just have to stay focused all the time and don't worry if you don't succeed right away. You should be able to go through the first set of corners without any major problems (#1). Don't worry if you're driving slower here. Concentrate only on not hitting any of the surrounding objects (especially the cars). You will be able to speed up later during the race. You will have to go through two hairpins very soon (#2). I wouldn't recommend switching to the left lane, because you won't see if there's anything coming your way. You will reach some new hairpins in a short while (#3). There are a lot of them here, so you must be very careful. Once again, you must remember that you won't have to be fast here. Precision is more important at the moment. Once you've reached one of the straight lines, you can speed up a little (#4), however make sure that you don't hit any of the civilian cars. You should consider cutting through some of the mild corners. You should be able to reach a set of very fast turns (#5). Once this is done, you will have to turn left. It's going to be very easy to miss this turn, so be careful, because you wouldn't want to lose precious time here. You should be able to reach a set of tight turns very soon (#6). Try cutting through them in order to regain some of the lost time. You should be able to reach the freeway area very soon. Sadly, you'll be moving the wrong way (#7). I'd strongly recommend that you slow down a little. Try moving near the side of the road, especially since there are no bends here. You will have to make a left turn very soon. You can't miss it (#8). Watch out for some new tight turns (#9). They will be located near the freeway. This is a very simple section, so focus all of your attention on avoiding the civilian cars. You will come across a set of three hairpins (#10). You will have to slow down here, mostly because these turns are very challenging. The final part of the race is going to be rather simple. You will be dealing with a large number of fast corners. Speed up once you've reached the tunnel area. There are some tight turns nearby (#11), however there are less civilian cars in this area, so you'll be moving faster then before. There's also a single hairpin (#12) near the finish line. Make sure that you go through it properly. You must reach the finish line within about six minutes. It's very important, because you will probably receive 60-90 penalty seconds...
