Ring of Elysium vs PUBG - differences Ring of Elysium Guide and Tips
Last update: 04 December 2018
This page focuses on the differences between PUBG and Ring of Elysium. Both games are part of the popular Battle Royale genre and both of them use graphics made in a more realistic style.
Price
Ring of Elysium is available in the free-to-play model which means that you can play it for free. However, the game has a shop where you can spend real money on a virtual currency. This currency can be spent on cosmetics.
Starting a match
In PUBG, players must jump out from the plane and then use their parachute to land somewhere on the map. In Ring of Elysium, players choose their starting location before they begin a match. Another feature of Ring of Elysium is that you can see other players on the map - use this information to spawn near them and try to kill, or you can decide to spawn in a more secluded place.
Number of enemies
Unlike in other Battle Royale games, Ring of Elysium has matches for up to 60 players. Encounters with other players are less frequent which makes the gameplay slower.
Chances for surviving
Up to 4 players can survive a match in Ring of Elysium. It is up to the players to decide whether they will let others onboard the helicopter or not. Some of them may decide to kill everyone at the end of a match and become the sole survivor.
Weather conditions
Weather conditions in Ring of Elysium have a huge impact on the gameplay. The most important information is that you have to be on the move. Your character can freeze if you stay too long in one place.
Another thing that can happen is an avalanche. Our guide has information on how to cause an avalanche yourself to eliminate enemies.
