Remnant From the Ashes: Game modes
Remnant From the Ashes lets you play in three modes: offline (experience similar to a single-player), private (friends only), and online. In multiplayer, you cooperate with others, not compete with them.
You choose the game mode at the beginning, in the main menu.
- If you choose offline, other players won't join you.
- Friends only mode lets only your friends join the game.
- Online mode will team you up with players from all around the world.
To change the game mode, go to the main menu and choose the option you are interested in.
Remnant From the Ashes multiplayer: Main features
Multiplayer mode in Remnant can be started only when selecting the character in the main menu of the game. You can play in the online world, so that other players can join and help. There is also the option to join a friend's game or a random player gameplay. In Remnant the player does not have any influence on what terrain he will come to help others. It is completely random, the player appears where the other player is, it can be either in the initial location or on the final maps.
The online mode increases the level of difficulty depending on how many players there are in one session. There can be up to three. By increasing the level of difficulty, you should understand that the opponents have more health points (bosses are also taken into account) and there are more of them. Healing allies who have lost all their health consumes one Dragon Heart.
It is also worth remembering that in the game there is a possibility of injury one's ally, so keep in mind that you can accidentally damage another player's character. Effects such as loss of balance or failure also affect an allied player, as long as given weapon causes such effects on hit.
