Main Battle Tanks
- Advantages - strong frontal armor, high mobility, the ability to fire while on the move.
- Disadvantages - weak side armor, vulnerable to anti-tank infantry and air units.
- Purpose - frontal attack.
This unit is perfect for counterattacks. Due to the strong frontal armor, it is a good idea to place this unit at the front of the attacking formation. Don't let the enemy flank the tanks, because the easiest way to destroy them is by hitting their sides or rear.
Armored Personnel Carriers
- Advantages - effective transport of infantry, cover for infantry.
- Disadvantages - low firepower of infantry inside the carrier, the armor protects only against low-caliber weapons.
- Destination - transport, frontal attack.
APCs are perfect for transporting infantry, but you have to bear in mind that the units inside the vehicle do not fire. When in a right position, consider disembarking the infantry and order it to keep close to the APC so they can utilize their full potential. However, remember that infantry is vulnerable to enemy fire.
Infantry Fighting Vehicles
- Advantages - can transport infantry, the vehicle has armament
- Disadvantages - Inability to fire while mobile
- Destination - transport, frontal attack.
This type of unit is better suited to combat than APCs, as the vehicle has access to armament capable of destroying enemy infantry, lightly armored vehicles, and even helicopters. However, you must bear in mind that IFVs must stop in order to fire, which can make them an easy target for enemy artillery.
Assault Engineers
- Advantages - they break through obstacles quickly and are effective against entrenched infantry.
- Disadvantages - weak against armored vehicles.
- Destiny - elimination of obstacles, direct attack.
Combat Engineers are dedicated to taking care of obstacles and do it much faster than other units. In terms of combat, it is best to send them against entrenched infantry, but they are also capable of dealing with open field infantry.
Reconnaissance Vehicles
- Advantages - high mobility, ability to avoid detection.
- Disadvantages - lack of combat potential.
- Destiny - recon
Reconnaissance vehicles are used to explore the terrain and determine enemy positions. Thanks to them, you can get to know the location of enemy troops and efficiently plan your next moves. The unit is not suitable for direct attack due to their weak armor and armament.
Remember to set Hold Fire order for recon units. This way you will avoid unnecessary detection. You can send the command by pressing H.
Self-propelled Mortars
- Advantages - long-range, follow enemy positions on their own
- Disadvantages - almost useless at short range and in close combat.
- Purpose - ranged fire.
It is best to place mortars behind cover, far away from the enemy. After targeting a specific opponent, if it moves, the mortars will continue targeting the enemy. This is definitely one of the best units of this type available in the game.
Self-propelled Artillery
- Advantages - high firepower, long range.
- Cons - long reload time
- Purpose - ranged fire.
Self-propelled artillery can wreak havoc in enemy ranks, but reload times and the time it takes for the projectile to reach its target are slow. This means that the enemy may change his location before the projectile reaches its target.
Multiple Launch Rocket Systems
- Advantages - multiple shots at the same time, quick salvos.
- Disadvantages - long aiming and reloading time.
- Purpose - ranged fire.
Unlike other units of this type, the rocket launcher fires multiple missiles at once, allowing it to supress the enemy. However, it comes at the expense of accuracy and long reload time.
Anti-Aircraft Artillery
- Advantages - can engage air units effectively
- Cons - weak armor.
- Purpose - ranged fire.
Anti-aircraft artillery is perfect for taking care of enemy fighter planes and helicopters. Although they can be utilized in ground combat, there is a disadvantage in form of weak armor. It is best to keep this unit at a safe distance from enemy forces.
Command & Control Vehicles
- Advantages - they improve the statistics of nearby troops.
- Disadvantages - lack of combat potential.
- Destiny - support.
Command vehicles are special support units that provide bonuses to allied troops that are within the range of the vehicle. The bonus can take the form of improved accuracy, better resistance to suppression, or faster artillery target acquisition. It is a good idea to place these units away from the enemy because they aren't very durable.
Supply
- Advantages - repairs damaged units, transports ammunition.
- Disadvantages - lack of armor and armament
- Destiny - support.
Supply units are support units that will provide other units with ammunition and repairs vehicles without having to return to the starting points. The lack of any weapons or armor gives them zero combat potential.
Tank Destroyers
- Advantages - long range and accuracy.
- Disadvantages - cannot fire while on the move, low rate of fire.
- Purpose - frontal attack.
Tank destroyer shells are highly effective at penetrating enemy armor, making them worth sending to combat armored enemies. Their guns are accurate and have a relatively long range. Due to the inability to fire while on the move, give these units cover before starting an attack.
Attack Helicopters
- Advantages - high mobility and firepower.
- Cons - weak armor.
- Purpose - frontal attack.
The main advantages of attack helicopters are the ability to move without problems over difficult terrain, high speed and serious firepower. They can be utilized to quickly flank the opponent and inflict serious losses. However, watch out for Anti-aircraft units, as they are quickly destroyed by these units.
Reconnaissance Helicopters
- Advantages - movement speed.
- Disadvantages - weak armor, no combat potential.
- Destiny - recon
Reconnaissance helicopters are used to carry out reconnaissance over enemy territory. They are much faster than their ground counterparts. Although they are easy to detect, thanks to their high speed, they are able to efficiently recon the area. Lack of weapons makes them unsuitable for direct combat.
