Scribe Trials | Walkthrough Pyre Guide
Last update: 16 August 2017
Below you will find a complete list of all Scribe Trials that you will have to complete during your journey through the Purgatory. Each of them will be enriched with a few tips that will help you win.
Rukey
Rukey will have to cope with three strong enemies, who all have a pretty big Aura. They are, however, much slower than your character. Mysterious runes appear on the map - they're actually invisible walls, behind which you can take cover. Try to lure subsequent enemies out one by one until you're able to get around them and score the Pyre.
Jodariel
Jodariel is very slow, but it commands great power and big Aura. After the game begins, try to eliminate the enemy who approaches the Orb first. Then finish the rest with a ranged attack. After they're eliminated, take the Orb and sprint towards the Pyre. If the enemies are back before you're there, drop the Orb and eliminate them again. Remember that the runes provide cover. Also remember that the harpies can fly, and can be blocked if you jump in the right moment.
Hedwyn
Hedwyn doesn't have any particular skills such as flying, but is an incredibly balanced character in terms of stats. The enemies will have two quick and one strong player. A good idea is to shoot down the first enemy that approaches the Orb and then taking care of the next one. When only one enemy is left, you may try to take the Orb with you and sprint to the Pyre. As always, the runes on the ground provide cover (can be jumped over).
Fae
Fae will have to face 3 very fast enemies. When the game begins, start powering-up your Aura for a ranged attack to eliminate the first enemy. Then take care of the remaining two in the same way, or try to get around them. One jump from the center of the arena should allow Fae to get close to the Pyre. Interestingly enough, when the enemy gets too close, they can pass you the Orb in order to bereave you of your Aura defense. Then they will quickly attack and get to your Pyre. When an enemy is rising into the air, you can block them by jumping in the right moment.
Sir Gilman
Little Wyrm will have to face three enemies and an additional Little Tree with its own Aura. Remember that Sir Gilman can unleash his energy to eliminate enemies. The range of this ability is so long that it can attack even through walls, so make sure you take advantage of that.
Ti'Zo
Ti'Zo cannot use his Aura to attack from a distance, but he can create explosions that cover a pretty wide area. The key to success in this trial is to use quick jumps to eliminate enemies. Begin with moving to the center of the Arena and wait for the enemy to pick up the ball. Then, quickly eliminate them to take the ball or wait for other enemies to get in range. Remember that you can fly above obstacles and enemies.
Bertrude
Bertrude's Aura has a very long range, enabling her to eliminate many enemies at once. Bertrude's biggest advantage in this trial, however, is her long jump ability. Once the trial begins, hide behind one of the walls and quickly eliminate the first enemy. Then, pick up the ball and jump into the enemy pyre.
Pamitha
Pamitha is a very capable character, in addition to which she can fly, making this trial that much easier to complete. Once the trial begins, simply go for the ball, take off and fly straight into the enemy pyre.
