Best Confidant skills in Persona 5

By building better relationships with Confidants, you unlock completely new skills that are useful both in real world and during fights in the Palaces. Some characters let you earn more experience, allow you to save some time, or they'll make combat significantly easier. Below, you can find a list of Confidants that are more worthwhile than others along with information on how to gain access to their top skills the quickest.

• Sadayo Kawakami - Temperance Confidant
• Tae Takemi - Death Confidant
• Toranosuke Yoshida - Sun Confidant
• Yuuki Mishima - Moon Confidant
• Chihaya Mifune - Fortune Confidant
• Hifumi Togo - Star Confidant

Sadayo Kawakami - Temperance Confidant

Kawakami should be the number one for you to max out. Sadayo lets you save a ton of time. Once you've hit Rank 3, you can ask Kawakami to make coffee and do your laundry. In time, you can ask her to do more things, such as creating infiltration tools, cooking meals, or even exempting you from going to school. Thanks to that, you can devote more time to a number of different activities in the game. Make sure to gain a high rank with Sadayo as soon as possible.

Tae Takemi - Death Confidant

You will unlock her by the noon on 4/15 in the clinic. Takemi offers various healing items that prove extremely useful in combat and during the runs to clear the Palaces. When you've reached Rank 5, Takemi offers significantly more wares and adds very good accessories that let you regenerate health in combat to her merchandise. Rank 7, in turn, will allow you to buy items at half price which is also very profitable. To develop your relationship with Takemi, you have to also develop Guts and Charm.

Toranosuke Yoshida - Sun Confidant

Mister politician offers a number of incredibly useful skills. When you reach Rank 2 with him, you can demand additional items or money from your enemies twice. The subsequent levels let you obtain even greater amounts of money and items, which is very useful. At some point, you will be able to convince Personas to join you even if they are at a higher level than yours.

Yuuki Mishima - Moon Confidant

Thanks to him, you can significantly increase the amount of experience your party gains. Yuuki offers a myriad of missions to Mementos and has an influence on the permanent experience point bonuses for combat. Eventually, you will unlock a skill that grants every party member the same amount of experience even if they don't actually participate in battles!

Chihaya Mifune - Fortune Confidant

Mifune is very useful since she allows you to develop your relationships with other Confidants quickly. When you hit Rank 7 with her, you can advance your relations with any Confidant without spending time with him/her. It is quite costly but will allow you to save a lot of time. It's definitely worth it to develop a good relationship with Mifune in order to catch up on those with other Confidants.

Hifumi Togo - Star Confidant

Although other Confidants may be a bit more useful, Hifumi still offers a number of beneficial skills. At Rank 1, she lets the protagonist switch party members during combat. Rank 9, in turn, allows you to instantly escape a battle, which is especially useful when farming experience on the Reaper (see the adequate chapter). Rank 10 expands the ability to switch party members in combat by letting you do it without having to wait for the protagonist's turn.
