Tips Paladins Guide

- Paladins: Champions of the Realm is a team-based game. Solo actions usually end with swift demise and a weakened team. Play with your team, and avoid putting too much weight on statistics.
- The game asks the players to fight for certain objective points. Running around the map and shooting at everything that moves may improve your statistics, but doesn't help your team in attaining your goals. Take over Objective Points, escort the treasure, and eliminate opponents that try to interfere with your actions.
- Remember to leave at least one player in the circle when taking over an objective point. The same applies to escorting - there has to be at least one player in the vicinity. When your opponents decide to strike, your progress is stooped until one of the teams is eliminated.
- Some of the heroes have a defense shield at their disposal which protects them from frontal attacks. In this case, you need to approach such enemy from behind to be able to deal damage. Otherwise, you'll have to destroy the shield before you can damage the enemy.
- Always start with the most dangerous enemy. In most cases, you'll fire at the damage dealer or the support that heals the rest of his team. Don't waste your time focusing on the defender, as you may end up dead before you manage to hit him.
- Use the environmental advantages to get on top of the situation. Every map contains numerous locations offering height advantage or various walls that can be used as cover. If you've managed to catch your opponents at a disadvantage, fire away and use the opportunity to eliminate him.
- Before you use a special ability, make sure that your team will benefit from it. Sometimes, wait until more enemies appear to deal some real damage.
- When your health points are low, retreat and wait until your hero starts healing himself. Remember that regeneration is enabled only when you are out of combat - even a small hit, or your attack will interrupt the process.
- When choosing a Hero, try to choose one that fits well with the rest of the team to have more chances of success. A well-tailored team is able to cooperate, while good choices of heroes can result in multiple synergies.
- Take a moment to learn the abilities of all heroes, and read the texts appearing on the cards. Such knowledge will be very useful on the battlefield, as you have some sense as to what your opponent can throw at you.
- Each area is surrounded by an abyss - falling down means instant death. However, abyss can work to your advantage. Some of the heroes have the ability to push or pull an enemy (e.g. Makoa). You can quickly grab the opponent, and throw him into the chasm. This is a good way to eliminate the defender from the opposing team.
- Remember to spend acquired credits in the shop. You can use the money to improve your character during the game. Make sound choices and keep in mind that each of four categories can only hold one item, which then has three upgrades.
- You can still acquire credits for the acquisition of new heroes even if you cannot play. All you have to do is to log to your account every day. As a result, you'll receive a certain amount of credits that will grow with each log. The rewards for logging are reset each week.
