Investigate apartment 210 | Case #405 Walkthrough Observer Guide
Last update: 15 August 2017
When the hallucination ends you receive an objective to locate the owner of the tattoo parlor, for which you must talk to the guard again, who should be in the main courtyard. You will find out that the parlor’s owner is named Jack Karnas.
After the conversation with the guard head to the room 210. That ne is on the second floor of the block of flats in the south-west corner of the building. It is best to take the stairs which are next to the guard’s office. Your destination is shown in the picture above.
When you enter the apartment you can first pick up another collectible picture or just follow the long corridor to the office right away (at this point a new memory begins without warning). When you enter the office, the gate behind you shuts, forcing you to find a way out.
The only interactive object in the office is the radio seen in the picture above. Start turning the knob. Each time you find thet correct frequency (signaled by a green light) a short scene plays.
After watching one of those scenes the radio stops working, but the solution of that problem is very simple. Pick up the cable lying on the floor and plug it into the whole behind the radio.
Search for another valid frequency and turn attention to the strange character that appears in the room. You must unplug the cable from the radio and carry it to the character in order to plug it into the slot on their belly, as shown in the picture. Now, there are only a couple of scenes left, which do not require any specific actions from the player, excluding the one with pulling the cable to a floating object. After you watch all scenes you will return to the real world and find yourself in the real version of apartment 210.
One of the new objectives is investigating the crime scene in apartment 210. As you are now well familiar to the procedure, start using EM Vision and Bio Vision. First of all, scan the body of Jack Karnas (the picture above) as well as some individual parts of his body: a prosthetic eye, filtration implant, wound and prosthetic leg. Apart from those there are some blood stains to scan in the room (in several places, including close to the apartment’s exit), a walking stick, voice recorder (listen to the recording), medical license, credit card, the substance 53B, tablet and computer (read all e-mails).
Before leaving the room, look around for another collectible picture (it is in a drawer) and synchrozine syringes (the most of them are in the bathroom).
