Impressive Sales of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom; Nintendo Proud
Nintendo has revealed sales of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom after 3 days of release. The result is impressive.
The latest installment in the iconic The Legend of Zelda has captured the hearts of gamers around the world. Tears of the Kingdom, released on the Nintendo Switch console, has sold more than 10 million copies within just three days of its release, becoming the fastest-selling game in the series' history.
As we read on BusinessWire, the new Zelda became the fastest-selling Nintendo game in US history with 4 million copies sold in 3 days. In Japan, 2.24 million people bought it. Worldwide TotK is the second best-selling Zelda in history, taking into account full sales (second only to Breath of the Wild). It is significant, however, that the game has already reached 1/3 of the sales of its predecessor and will probably eventually improve on its score.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a sequel to the excellent The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which delighted critics and fans alike. The game takes us again to the vast world of Hyrule, which we can explore both on land and in the air. In the game we can use Link's new skills, such as creating weapons and various buildings.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for purchase on Nintendo Switch in the eShop and stationary stores. It's an excellent game - the average rating pulled from 93 reviews on Metacritic is as high as 96/100. Particularly impressive is the building mode, which inspired players to create many interesting constructions (some of which are described in more detail on special fan website - you will also find there information on how to build similar things yourself).
