Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Release Sooner Than Planned
Nintendo and Monolith Soft have announced that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be released two months earlier than planned.
When publishers announce a change in the planned release date, most often it's about delays. Much less often do they announce that a game will be released earlier than expected. That is why we were pleasantly surprised when Nintendo announced that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will debut on July 29, this year.
The change is significant, as the game was originally scheduled for release this September. This is one of the most anticipated releases on Nintendo Switch this year, so console owners should be happy.
During the announcement of the new release date, a fresh trailer was revealed, available above. The video contains extensive gameplay fragments and enables us to take a look, among others, at the improved combat system. In battles our hero is to be assisted by up to six companions.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition
A special edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was also announced, which will be available exclusively through My Nintendo Store. It will include:
- The game,
- Steelbook,
- 250 pages color art book in hardcover.
Unfortunately, we did not learn the price of this edition yet.
Recall that the series began in 2010 with Nintendo Wii game Xenoblade Chronicles. Two years ago this game lived to see an improved version for Switch, subtitled Definitive Edition. Sequel in the form of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was released in 2017 straight on Nintendo's newest console.
