- Microsoft has announced expected stock shortages of Xbox Series X|S;
- Availability is to improve before July.
Microsoft is warning of supply shortages for the Xbox Series X|S. In an interview for New York Times, Mike Spencer, who is in charge of investor relations, admitted that the company will have trouble delivering enough consoles on sale by June this year.
The biggest problems with the availability of new consoles will occur in the U.S. and Western Europe. While the the situation is not so serious in some countries, when the currently available stocks are sold out, getting one of the consoles may not be an easy task either.
This isn't the first time we've been warned of prolonged problems on the subject. AMD revealed a few days ago that it expects console shortages in the market that will last until the end of this year. The reason is limited production of components used in the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
