Xbox and PC Game Pass for Early March; Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and More
In the first half of March the Game Pass subscription will include, among others, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. What's more, new features have been added to the Xbox PC app. It is possible that we got to know the game that will be one of the first to use the DirectStorage technology.
February was packed with events and there are many indications that March, which begins today, will continue the trend. Fortunately new titles that will appear in the Game Pass subscriptions in the first half of this month should help take some of the pressure off our brains and enable us to soar in the clouds for a while...
New games in Game Pass
- Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (cloud, consoles and PC) - available from March 10.
- Microsoft Flight Simulator - game available from today in the cloud (Xbox Cloud Gaming).
- Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (Consoles & PC) - available from March 3.

New games in Xbox PC app
- Starting today you can select the folder where games will be installed.
- You can also now access files of selected installed games, as well as options to repair and transfer titles.
- Modding options have been implemented for more games.
There is no need to fully reinstall the games on our hard drive. Just right-click on a title from the list located on the left side of the app window, and then select the "manage" and "enable" options. From the same level you can move and repair installed games.
Games leaving Game Pass on March 15
- NieR: Automata (cloud, consoles and PC)
- The Surge 2 (cloud, consoles and PC)
- Torchlight III (cloud, consoles and PC)
- PHOGS! (cloud, consoles and PC)
Forspoken with DirectStorage?
Available on both Windows 11 and Windows 10 The DirectStorage technology could possibly appear in Forspoken. This information can be found in the schedule of this year's Game Developers Conference (it will last from March 21 to 25).
- If true, Forspoken will be one of the first PC games to take advantage of this technology.
- It allows for, among other things. faster texture loading and shorter loading screens (you can find out more about it here).
- DirectStorage requires an NVMe drive with PCIe 3.0 or higher and a GPU that supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. You may see on some websites that NVMe capacity must be at least 1TB, but this requirement has been dismissed.
- Forspoken will debut on May 24th. The target platforms are PS5 and PCs.
Bonuses
It is worth remembering that today the first part of Titanfall will be finally pulled from sales and subscriptions (including EA Play included in Game Pass).
Additional bonuses await Game Pass Ultimate subscription holders in the form of a "Past Time" set for Mangusta in Halo Infinite (cloud, consoles and PC; available March 9), a fighter pack and cosmetic items for EA Sports UFC 4 (consoles; starting March 3) and the "Hjorrani Savannah" set for Century: Age of Ashes (consoles; from March 14).
