Patch 2.4 for Diablo 2 Resurrected Fixed and Will be Back on Test Servers
Tomorrow, Diablo 2 Resurrected's public test servers will once again receive patch 2.4. This time players will be able to try out the ranked mode and other changes to the game balance.
Last December it was announced that Diablo 2 Resurrected will receive patch 2.4, which will introduce ranked games and new runic words, among other things. In January interested players had a chance to try out some of the new features. Now it has been announced that the patch will once again be available on PC on the Public Test Servers (PST). This time it will be available from March 22. However, it is still unknown when the update will come to the full version of the game.
During these tests we will finally be able to check out ranked games. Diablo 2 Resurrected after patch 2.4 will offer such a mode. It will be divided into four ladders:
- standard;
- hardcore;
- standard expansion;
- hardcore expansion
The challenge in each ladder will have to start with creating a new character. With the help of this character, players will compete to accumulate as many experience points as possible in a given time. The global progress can be seen on the leaderboards. After the end of the season, the characters will be moved to non-ranking modes.
On the list of tested changes we can also find Uber Diablo summoning. He will continue to appear after players sell a sufficient number of Stones of Jordan rings. After patch 2.4, the storage location of creature summoning progress will change. The information will be collected in regional databases, so it will appear to players across the area, not just on specific servers.
The PST will also enable players to try out changes to the gameplay balance. All character classes have received reworked skill trees. As we wrote earlier, the creators want to strengthen some of the abilities so that players start using them.
