WoW Wrath of the Lich King Classic Adds Highly Anticipated Feature
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic has received an epic trailer and an update introducing new dungeons and features. Players will certainly be most pleased with the addition of the RDF option, which they have been demanding for many months.
Quite unexpectedly Blizzard has released a new update for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic, titled Fall of the Lich King. In addition to previously unavailable dungeons and features, it added Random Dungeon Finder.
"Random Dungeon Finder" is a feature from the Classic version, element of the original World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, making it possible to search for individual instances without interrupting the game. Players have been asking for for it for many months, but Blizzard claimed that it would spoil the original experience brought by WoW Classic as such.
Just when it seemed that nothing would come of it, Blizzard decided to listen to the community's requests. With the update released today RDF has appeared in the game and allows for queued searches of individual dungeons in Normal, Heroic, as well as Defense Protocol Alpha, Beta and Gamma modes.
The latter is new - if you activate it before entering a dungeon, you will receive additional buffs. The bosses we will meet in this type of dungeon, in turn, will drop a currency called Defiler's Scourgestone. We will use it to purchase level 245 items, obtainable in the Trial of the Crusader raid for 25 players. They will be sold by Korralin Hoperender (Alliance) and Kolara Dreamsmasher (Horde).
In addition, the update adds:
- a quest log and the ability to track quests;
- a new collection interface - it will make it easier to browse available mounts, animal companions, etc.
- three new dungeons (these are The Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron and Halls of Reflection).
We will set off to the latter as part of the initial phase of the attack on Icecrown Citadel. A related raid - the final clash with the Lich King - will be unlocked at midnight CET, October 13 and will consist of twelve clashes divided into five wings.
