Will Final Fantasy 16 (FF16) Be on Game Pass? Answered

Final Fantasy XVI is a new game in this very popular franchise. Many fans await its premiere. It will be released in 10 days on PS5. Starting today, you can check out the demo (to be precise – 2 of them). Sadly, the title is for now exclusive for PlayStation. Nevertheless, there are speculations that it will be ported sooner or later to other platforms. This is why we will talk about FF16 and its release on Game Pass.
FF16 on other platforms
It is very likely that Final Fantasy 16 will be ported to PC at some point, as it is hinted by one of its developers. As of now, the game is a six-month time exclusive for PS5. It is unknown when the ports to other platforms will be created. It is certain that PC version will not be available immediately after the half-year exclusivity. How long will it take to publish the game on PC? Time will tell.
In the case of Xbox the situation is more complicated, as there is a silence in this matter. Nevertheless, there is a chance that the game will be ported at some point, as other titles from the series are also available on Microsoft’s devices.
FF16 on Game Pass
Will FF16 be on Game Pass? Probably not. While some games which are part of this franchise are available on Xbox, none of them is on the subscription service at the moment of writing. It would be a precedence if Final Fantasy 16 was added on Game Pass. Of course, everything is possible. However, it is very unlikely and if so, it will be probably in at least few years.
