Who is Will Smith from Slow Horses? All You Need to Know About the Showrunner of the Apple TV Plus Show
Many were probably intrigued by Will Smith's participation in the creation of the Slow Horses series. Who is the showrunner of the Apple TV+ hit?
Probably many viewers were surprised by the participation of a certain Will Smith in the creation of the British series Slow Horses for Apple TV+. The American actor, star of Bad Boys and I Am Legend, certainly came to mind for many, but it's not this Will Smith at all. The showrunner of the streaming hit is a British comedian and writer who began his career as a stand-up artist. He’s the winner of the Chortle Best Headliner 2005 and Time Out Comedy 2004 awards, and has been called "the Hugh Grant of comedy" by one critic.
In addition to his career as a comedian, Will Smith has also been involved in numerous television projects, among which we can mention the political satire Veep, for which he wrote 9 episodes, as well as 15 episodes of the series The Thick of It. But that's not all, the Slow Horses showrunner also worked on Avenue 5, the sitcom Back and Damned. Of course, these aren’t all the titles that Smith worked on, there are many more. So before he started working on Slow Horses together with Morwenna Banks, Mark Denton and Jonny Stockwood, he gained experience on many other productions.
It's also worth mentioning that Smith helped with additional material for the second adventure of the famous Paddington bear, so he's also no stranger to working on cinematic productions.
