What Else Changed in Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 - Deep Dive on Less Obvious Features and Glitches
Update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 has introduced quite a few new features to the game. Some of them are not obvious. We present noteworthy tidbits and some fun glitches.
Update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 has landed and it looks like most players are more than satisfied. The update introduced quite a few new features and made a visit to Night City even more rewarding. There are so many interesting features that fans are outdoing themselves in presenting them. Not to be too colorful, glitches have also appeared, but interestingly , they are perceived by players rather as amusing imperfections ..
(Un)obvious new features in Cyberpunk 2.0
CD Projekt RED has presented a long list of changes that update 2.0 introduces to Cyberpunk 2077, but not all players have read it from A to Z. As if that wasn't enough, the studio introduced some tidbits that the patch notes didn't say a word about. We present a list of noteworthy novelties that you might not have known about, while avoiding potential spoilers.
- Most clothes no longer give defense points. Protection will now be gained through implants. It is therefore possible to treat clothes as... clothes.
- Blue dots appear on the minimap to indicate NCPD. The officers are also more numerous and patrol the city (CDPR seems to have taken a cue from the classic and brought the police to the streets).
- An icon with ears appears over the cat's head, indicating that you can interact with the pet.
- Trauma Drama, a mini-game that was mentioned in the patch notes, is a title based on the iconic Contra. There is no denying that it is very addictive. You will play the game on arcade machines set up around Night City (for example, at Wakako's).
- Johnny Silverhand can appear in the apartment from time to time, so returns to the apartment now make more sense.
- Buying cars has finally become enjoyable. Instead of driving from point to point all over Night City, you can now buy them through a website.
- The area at Pacifica has been expanded. You can see the before and after version on the map comparison here.
New content spiced with glitches
The game also didn't lack new-old glitches, but let's agree - Cyberpunk without them is like being Spider-man in a meadow - plainly boring. The clip below, for example, shows a kind of rocket jump on a motorcycle. It's hard to tell if this is a mistake, or if you can always do it like this. Let us know in the comments if it works for you too.
Players also share other funny situations, such as driving a destroyed car, this chilling scene (it's a jumpscare, be warned), deja vu, or a conversation with a suspiciously happy Victor.
Finally, let me remind you that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will debut in just four days - on Tuesday, September 26.
