The latest update to Cyberpunk 2077 introduced a number of new features, as well as many minor tidbits. We present some of them.
The surprise update 2.2 introduced many new features to Cyberpunk 2077, such as the option to purchase additional cars, customize their colors and patterns, and expand the character creator. Of course, there were also hidden treats, one of which was an extra quest related to the Balatro game. Today we bring you another portion of "collectibles" posted on X by user Synth Potato.
7 fun facts
Patch 2.2 expanded the capabilities of the photo mode, adding the option to decorate apartments with our own pics. However, nothing is stopping you from replacing the photos in the game files with any image you like. An example of the effect can be seen below.
Regarding the photo mode, it's worth mentioning that CD Projekt RED is organizing a competition in which participants must submit photos that fit the theme of the selected category. More details, rules and prizes can be found on the studio's website.
However, returning to the trivia, Synth Potato discovered a few more.
- The famous Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine now drives around the city. We can apply Mystery Machine patterns to any vehicle.
- Among the various car paints available, there is a "chameleon" type that changes color depending on the angle from which it is viewed.
- Additionally, expensive cars aren't only for showing off or driving faster, but they are also more resistant to bullets. Some have even become bulletproof.
- Multiple events have also been added throughout Night City, one of which was introduced by Synth Potato. This is a small street race, ending tragically for one of the participants.
- We can now add a new scar to V's forehead, which is meant to be a mark from a shot by Dexter DeShawna.
- A new cat has been added, with which you can interact. It is located around the City Center.
Finally, it's worth noting that CD Projekt RED added the option to downgrade the game to version 2.13. Thanks to this, you can continue to play with your favorite modifications.
If you don't yet own Cyberpunk 2077, the game is currently on sale on GOG.com. You can purchase the bundle with the Phantom Liberty DLC there for $23.99/$20.22.
