Warcraft 3 remade. Again
Warcraft 3: Azeroth Reborn is a project of by user Synergy. He independently transfers the iconic RTS to the newer engine used by StarCraft 2. Along the way he enriches the game with many improvements.
A large part of them are smaller or larger changes and QoL innovations. The game has received, among others, more options for the pace of the game, indicators showing how long the construction of a building will take, and improvments to AI pathfinding.
The interface has also been rebuilt to match modern standards. Some of the maps have received small changes (some adjustments known from Reforged). The developer has also resored some cut dialogues.
You can already test the upcoming project. Synergy has released an early version of Azeroth Reborn, which will enable us to play the 5 missions from the prologue of Warcraft 3. You can download it for free from within the game by selecting Custom Campaigns.
Some people have already had time to get acquainted with the project. Players mostly praise the fan's work. Some don't hesitate to say that he did a better job than Blizzard did in creating Reforged.
Some players also share comments on the project. They point out, among other things, small problems with scrolling and unreadable HP bars. They also criticized the visual design itself, the colors of which are much more faded than in the original.
Mostly, however, the creator of Azeroth Reborn receives a lot of praise and encouragement to continue his work. If you would like to see his version of Warcraft 3 in its entirety, you can support Synergy via Patreon.
