Warcraft III is getting a patch this week
Warcraft III is the next Blizzard classic to get an update. After releasing a patch for Diablo II, which fixed several of the game’s issues on modern OS, the developer is preparing similar tweaks for their other games.
Last week we informed about the new update for Diablo II, which enhanced the way the game works on modern operating systems and improved anti-cheaters/hackers systems. However, that is not all, as Blizzard Entertainment intends to continue support for its classic games. It seems Warcraft III was next in line: the 14-year-old third installment in the popular fantasy strategy series is about to get an update on March 15, 2016, as revealed in a video message to the player community in China.
Although Blizzard did not specify the changes introduced with patch 1.27, we can expect its scope will be similar to that of the last Diablo II update, namely fixes improving stability on modern OS and other technical improvements. Fans can expect a similar patch for StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War available soon.
