These Ubisoft DLCs Will Disappear From Stores on PC
Assasins' Creed III, Far Cry 3, Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands - these games will soon lose access to online features and DLCs on PC.
Ubisoft has announced the full list of single-player content that will no longer be available in games from the publisher's catalog on PC, starting tomorrow. In September life ended only the online shooter Space Junkies. On October 1 we will say goodbye not only to network features (including multiplayer modes) in, among others, Assassin's Creed III i Far Cry 3, but we will also lose the options to purchase DLCs for them.
We emphasize: the DLCs listed below will only disappear from the digital store offerings on PC. Those who have these content packs in their game collections will retain access. So you can still purchase them before October 1 and play with them after that date.
Let us also remind you, the action does not apply to Anno 2070. Since the September 6 update, the game has been running on new servers, and fans of this game can continue playing without worrying about losing network features in the near future.
The full list of "decommissioned network services" in Ubisoft's games (not only from this year) can be found on the official website of the French publisher. For a list of games that will lose access to network features (including on consoles) on October 1, we refer you to our previous post.
