Despite 13 months from its release, Helldivers 2 maintains a healthy playerbase (via SteamDB). Recently developers announced that players had killed 280 billion of enemies in the first year. No wonder that creators from Arrowhead Game Studios would like to keep their fans interested in their production even longer. How to do that? By updating the game! So, be prepared for more updates and content in the future… or today.

Today’s Helldivers 2 update patch notes

The first news for today is quite a large update. Developers have implemented a lot of balancing changes. 13 weapons and 6 stratagems were boosted. So, check out the patch notes – maybe your favorite gun is even more powerful now. However, some enemies are also a bigger threat, mostly Automatons, so now you are warned.

Of course, updating the game, you will also (at least theoretically) fix some potential bugs. Sadly, the list of known and unsolved problems is still 11 instances long, so it is not the end of the road.

Borderline Justice Warband

The patch is not all that developers have prepared. They have also announced the new Warband. It is called Borderline Justice and it will be released March 20th. This time, be prepared for guns and gadgets inspired by Wild West – 2 new armor sets (Lawmaker and Frontier Marshal), R-6 Deadeye primary weapon, LAS-58 Talon sidearm and even a throwable Dynamite. Of course, the list does not end here. Good luck cowboy.
